About Marisa
Marisa practices general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing emerging and high-growth companies, as well as public companies. Her practice covers a range of general corporate and transactional matters through all stages of the business life cycle, including corporate governance, venture financings, and Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance.
During law school, Marisa participated in Santa Clara Law’s Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic as a student associate and served as an articles editor for the Santa Clara High Technology Law Journal. She also received the Dean’s Leadership Award. Before law school, Marisa worked as a legislative aide in the US Senate and as a government affairs manager at a technology policy trade association.
