Matt Kong

Matt Kong advises companies, investors and financial institutions in a broad range of debt and structured financings, including syndicated credit facilities, convertible notes, venture debt, direct lending, royalty and revenue interest financings, restructuring and other strategic transactions. He has extensive experience working with clients in the life sciences and technology industries, as well as emerging growth companies in other industries.

Prior to joining Cooley, Matt was an associate in the New York office of Vinson & Elkins LLP, where his practice focused on financing transactions in the energy industry, including representing upstream and midstream companies, private equity sponsors and banks.
