About Meredith
Meredith focuses on regulatory matters impacting private funds and their managers, advising registered and exempt investment advisors on legal and compliance issues arising from federal securities laws.
Before joining Cooley, Meredith served as senior corporate counsel for securities regulation at the venture capital firm and startup accelerator Techstars. Prior to that, she was an associate at a Los Angeles-based international law firm, where she advised clients on capital markets transactions and securities compliance and disclosure issues, including multiple billion-dollar deals. She also served on the firm’s hiring committee.
During the 2022 – 2023 academic year, Meredith co-taught the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic at her alma mater, the University of Colorado Law School. Before attending law school, she worked at a major international investment bank.
