About Miriam

Miriam’s practice focuses on the transactional and litigation aspects of complex business restructuring and reorganization, including out-of-court transactions, cross-border insolvency matters, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Outside of her restructuring practice, Miriam has experience representing pro bono clients in immigration and human rights matters.

Miriam’s representative matters include:

  • Representing Cupar Grimmond, a secured creditor, in the Chapter 11 cases of WeWork and certain of its affiliates in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey
  • Representing a not-for-profit organization that owns and is a lead operator of senior living communities in out-of-court transactions and Chapter 11 cases
  • Representing Compu-Link (dba Celink), the largest unsecured creditor and chair of the unsecured creditors’ committee, in the Chapter 11 cases of Reverse Mortgage Investment Trust and certain of its affiliates in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware
  • Representing Quanergy Systems, a provider of LiDAR (light detection and ranging) sensors and smart 3D solutions technology for automotive applications, in its Chapter 11 cases in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware
  • Representing one of the largest cryptocurrency platforms in the world and its affiliates in Chapter 11 cases in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York*
  • Representing an eco-conscious construction company and its subsidiaries in Chapter 11 cases in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas*
  • Representing a restaurant company in its Chapter 15 proceeding in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas for recognition of proceedings in the UK in connection with its restructuring plan under the new Part 26A of the Companies Act 2006*
  • Representing an American retail chain and 17 of its affiliates in prearranged Chapter 11 cases in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas*
