About Molly
Molly focuses her practice on the formation, maintenance, governance and regulation of private investment funds, including venture capital funds, private equity funds, hybrid funds, credit funds, funds of one and funds of funds, both in the US and internationally.
As fund counsel, Molly regularly works with fund sponsors on all aspects of the fundraising and maintenance process, including investor relations, compliance with applicable state and federal securities laws, side letter negotiations, drafting term sheets, private placement memoranda, subscription agreements, investment advisory agreements, partnership agreements and operating agreements.
During law school, Molly externed at the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York. She was also the solicitations editor of The Georgetown Journal of International Law.
Prior to joining Cooley, Molly was an associate in Kirkland & Ellis’s private equity fund formation group in New York, NY and Washington, DC.
