Nigel Chan

Nigel focuses his practice on the formation and representation of private investment funds, including venture capital and private equity funds.

Prior to joining Cooley, Nigel was an associate in a reputable Chinese law firm's Hong Kong office, where he represented corporate clients and investment banks on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, post-listing offerings and convertible bond offerings. He also advised corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, and represented Hong Kong-listed corporate clients in regulatory compliance matters.
