
About Patrick
Patrick advises companies, founders and investors on a range of tax issues and business transactions – including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, and inbound and outbound investments. He also maintains an active pro bono practice helping organizations achieve and preserve tax-exempt status.
Before law school, Patrick received a PhD in history from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is the author of “Robert McNamara’s Other War: The World Bank and International Development,” published by the University of Pennsylvania Press in 2017. In law school, he was awarded the Sidney I. Roberts Prize for the best student paper in the field of taxation for research on the use of tax data in estimating historical trends in income inequality.
