Pilar Brito

Pilar Brito represents emerging companies at all stages, as well as venture capital firms and strategic investors that finance and acquire these companies. She provides strategic counseling to these clients for venture capital financings, corporate governance and general corporate matters spanning the life cycle of a company from formation through financing and exit transactions.

Pilar has been working with emerging companies, venture capital firms, and strategic investors since her time as a student at Yale Law School, where she was a member of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Clinic. She began her legal career at Cooley, and served as in-house Legal Counsel to a San Francisco-based venture capital firm before returning to Cooley.
