Qi Wang

Qi Wang focuses her practice on the formation and representation of private investment funds. She also represents institutional investors (including sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies) and other investors in connection with investments in private funds.

Prior to joining Cooley, Qi worked at the Shanghai office of another leading US law firm in its investment management group. She also worked at a top tier PRC law firm, where she represented sponsors of private equity funds in fundraising and institutional investors in investments in both US Dollar and Renminbi denominated private funds.

Qi is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
