About Rachael

Rachael is a commercial litigator with a wide-ranging practice focusing on general business disputes, aviation and real estate litigation, and criminal and civil white-collar investigations. Her experience encompasses the pre-litigation stages all the way through mediation, arbitration and trial. She also dedicates a portion of her practice to pro bono work.

Rachael’s representative experience includes:

  • Representing an aircraft conglomerate in nationwide products liability litigation
  • Defending the CEO of a national real estate brokerage in parallel criminal and civil investigations related to one of the largest real estate disputes in San Diego history
  • Representing a global technology company on breach of contract claims in a nationwide class action
  • Representing a global dietary supplement company bringing claims – including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty, and misappropriation of trade secrets
  • Representing a beverage company bringing claims against a former founder for breach of contractual obligations of confidentiality and invention assignment

Rachael earned her JD at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she served as an associate editor for the UC Irvine Law Review and spent a year working in the Environmental Law Clinic.  During law school, Rachael externed for Judge M. James Lorenz of the US District Court for the Southern District of California.

Before law school, Rachael was a copywriter.
