Rebecca Givner-Forbes advises clients on trademark clearance and prosecution, obtaining copyright registrations, sending and responding to trademark, copyright and false advertising demand letters, licensing and IP due diligence issues for acquisitions.

Rebecca  has represented clients in copyright and trademark matters in federal court, prosecuted and defended numerous oppositions and cancellations before the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and initiated and defended challenges before the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
