About Rich
Rich Nieva is a senior paralegal in the business litigation and intellectual property litigation practice groups and is a member of the Cooley litigation department. He joined Cooley in 2005 and is resident in the Palo Alto office. Rich's work focuses on complex intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement. His experience covers all phases of complex litigation, including pre-filing diligence, discovery, ediscovery, Markman hearing, trial preparation and trial.
Prior to joining Cooley, he was an intern at the San Francisco District Attorneys' Office and was an employment paralegal at Kay & Stevens in Menlo Park, California.
Rich studied political science with an emphasis in legal studies at the University of San Francisco in 1996.
