About Ritu

Ritu Gupta focuses her practice on the representation of emerging and established life sciences companies in a broad range of commercial and intellectual property-related transactions. Much of her practice is devoted to negotiating and drafting licensing agreements, development and commercialization collaboration agreements and other complex corporate partnering agreements.

Ritu also regularly advises life science companies with respect to confidentiality, manufacturing, supply, distribution, clinical trial and services agreements.

Prior to joining Cooley, Ritu was an associate at WilmerHale in its Boston and New York offices. At WilmerHale, Ritu was a part of the corporate and technology transactions and licensing practices, where she advised clients on a variety of technology-related matters involving biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, software and outsourcing.

While at Harvard Law School, Ritu was co-editor-in-chief of Harvard's Journal of Law and Technology.
