Ryan Ylitalo

Ryan joins Cooley after earning his JD from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated as valedictorian and achieved Order of the Coif honors.

During law school, Ryan externed for both Judge Kenneth K. Lee in the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and US Magistrate Judge Andrew G. Schopler in the Southern District of California (now a district court judge). He also externed at the USD Law Federal Tax Clinic, providing free services to low-income individuals regarding their matters with the IRS. Additionally, Ryan served as a comment editor on the San Diego Law Review’s executive team, guiding second-year students in writing their comments.
