About Sally
Sally Kay specializes in corporate and securities law with an emphasis on representing emerging and public growth companies. Sally counsels companies throughout their lifecycle and regularly assists clients with pre-incorporation planning and company information, advising on fundraising strategy, private financing transactions and corporate governance. As companies mature, she counsels them on initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and SEC reporting and compliance.
Prior to joining Cooley, both prior and concurrent with attending law school, Sally spent more than six years with Cadence Design Systems, Inc., as a program manager in the research and development group and as a project manager in the legal department. Prior to joining Cadence, Sally held various management positions in the restaurant, retail and hospitality industries.
Sally has previously served on the board of directors of the UCLA Alumni Association, and as the Association's General Counsel.
