About Samantha
Samantha helps clients navigate high-stakes commercial litigation and government investigations by developing tailored legal strategies and delivering results. Samantha focuses on complex commercial litigation – including class actions and multidistrict litigation – involving antitrust, trade secret, unfair competition, conspiracy, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. Samantha also has significant experience successfully representing clients in complex internal and government investigations, and she has represented clients subject to investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and state attorneys general. Her experience includes successfully defending cases before various federal and state courts, presenting to government bodies, and leading teams through complex civil litigation.
Samantha has extensive experience in pre-trial work, including drafting and arguing pretrial motions in federal court. She has skillfully prepared dozens of fact and expert witnesses to effectively testify at deposition and trial. In addition, Samantha is adept at handling all phases of discovery, including written discovery, document productions, and taking and defending depositions. She also has successfully led trial teams in federal and state court litigations with multiple defendants.
Samantha’s representative matters include:
- Leading the trial team in an antitrust conspiracy class action with 20+ witnesses before a federal jury
- Obtaining summary judgment on behalf of a client in multimillion-dollar antitrust litigation
- Securing a historic victory at trial in litigation against white supremacist leaders in federal district court in Sines v. Kessler
- Successfully obtaining a unanimous defense verdict on behalf of clients in a multimillion-dollar products liability case
- Successfully obtaining a unanimous defense verdict on behalf of clients in a multimillion-dollar products liability case
- Representing companies in DOJ investigations involving complex cross-border issues
- Conducting internal investigations for companies to mitigate the risk of government investigations and shareholder litigation
Samantha also maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in an array of immigration matters.
