About Sara

Sara represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation matters in state and federal court and arbitration. She is experienced in managing a broad range of disputes, including multi-jurisdictional business disputes; consumer class actions involving consumer protection, false advertising, unfair business practices, data privacy, wiretapping, and anti-gambling laws; trade secret misappropriation claims; copyright and trademark disputes; and the defense of other statutory and common law claims. Sara’s practice focuses primarily on complex-cross border disputes for clients in the technology industry. Her passion is litigating novel theories of liability for platforms, software, ecommerce and gaming companies in the rapidly evolving digital world, as well as providing proactive, business-focused advice tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Sara also maintains an active pro bono practice, and she has represented juveniles sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in resentencing proceedings and appeals; domestic violence victims in parole proceedings; low income tenants in unlawful detainer proceedings; and two individuals in active participation proceedings related to civil gang injunctions.
