Tony Lin

Tony leads Cooley’s spacetech and satellite initiative and represents new and established satellite and communications companies. He has assisted numerous space companies – including many entrepreneurs – in obtaining spectrum and imaging licenses and addressing other regulatory matters for novel satellite services, such as radiofrequency sensing and geolocation, mission extension, synthetic aperture radar, hyperspectral and multispectral imaging, on-orbit transportation and deployment, Internet of Things (IoT), weather forecasting, lunar activities and orbital debris removal. He also has more than a decade of experience advising traditional satellite companies that provide fixed satellite service, broadcasting satellite service and mobile satellite service on regulatory and other satellite matters.
