  • Successfully defended Sony in consolidated federal nationwide consumer class actions alleging violations of Consumers Legal Remedies Act, Unfair Competition Law and False Advertising Law and claims for breach of warranty arising from allegedly defective televisions, obtaining motions to dismiss with prejudice
  • Continue to be the firm of choice for Qualcomm in its multibillion-dollar licensing disputes concerning next generation mobile technologies, including recent matters against Nokia, Broadcom, Panasonic Mobile Communications and Ericsson
  • Represented an international semiconductor manufacturer in an ICDR arbitration concerning a license dispute with an Asian mobile communications company that alleged, among other things, that it did not owe royalties or owed fewer royalties to our client for its sales of select cell phones
  • Represented one of the largest privately held spirits manufacturers and importers in the US in an international arbitration before the ICDR against a prominent Mexican tequila manufacturer regarding termination of long-term import contracts
  • Represented claimant, a global steel producer, in an ICC arbitration against an international consortium of purchasers of steel arising from the termination of a long-term supply agreement
