Discover what’s new in fintech with Cooley’s 2024 Fintech Go-to-Market virtual series, hosted by the financial services regulatory team. During each session, we’ll explore the latest regulatory developments, compliance requirements and emerging trends shaping the fintech industry. Discussions will examine consumer and commercial lending in the dynamic financial landscape, in addition to the legal impacts from recent regulations of credit cards, artificial intelligence, open banking and more.

Session #2 – Payments Paradigm: Legal Frameworks, Strategies and Compliance

Participants explored the legal frameworks for moving money and the types of products and services in the market as a result – whether provided as a licensed money transmitter, through a direct bank partner, integrating with (or offering) an embedded finance solution or others. As part of this session, focused on regulatory and compliance considerations involved in launching a payments service or product.
