Cooley advised Brigit, a financial health technology company, on its definitive agreement to be acquired by Upbound Group (Nasdaq: UPBD), a technology- and data-driven leader in accessible and inclusive financial products that address the evolving needs and aspirations of underserved consumers, for total consideration of up to $460 million.

Cooley advised Reverence Capital Partners’ portfolio company Transact Campus, an innovative campus technology and payment solutions company, on a definitive agreement signed by Reverence Capital Partners to sell Transact to Roper Technologies for $1.6 billion.

Cooley advised financial-services mobile app ONE Finance on its completed acquisition by Hazel, an independent fintech launched in partnership with Walmart and investment firm Ribbit Capital. Peter Werner and Luke Blackett led the Cooley team advising ONE.

Cooley advised Truebill, a personal finance app that helps consumers manage their financial lives, on its agreement to sell to tech-driven real estate, mortgage and financial services business platform Rocket Companies for $1.275 billion. Cooley advised Cedar Cares, an innovative healthcare financial technology platform, on its agreement to acquire OODA Health, a healthcare technology company focused on improving the healthcare administrative experience, for $425 million.
