Transact Campus Announces $1.6 Billion Sale to Roper Technologies

Santa Monica – August 15, 2024 – Cooley advised Transact Campus, an innovative campus technology and payment solutions company (and portfolio company of Reverence Capital Partners), on a definitive agreement signed by Reverence Capital Partners to sell Transact to Roper Technologies for $1.6 billion. The transaction is expected to close in this quarter. Transact will be combined with Roper’s CBORD business, which provides access and security and campus commerce solutions for acute healthcare and senior living facilities, higher education institutions, and K-12 school districts.

Partners David Silverman, Izzy Lubarsky and Dave Young, and associates Grigor Lynch, Pat O’Connell and Matthew Choy, led the Cooley team advising Transact and Reverence, with tax support from partner Eileen Marshall and associate David Dalton, antitrust advice from partner Megan Browdie and associate Julia Brinton, and compensation and benefits support from partner Alessandra Murata and associates Tony Guan and Breanna Qin.
