NVIDIA Secures $380 Million Synthetic Lease for New Headquarters
San Diego – July 1, 2015 – Cooley represented NVIDIA Corporation and its affiliates in a $380 million synthetic lease/structured financing transaction for the construction of NVIDIA's new corporate headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.
The property will consist of a 500,000 square foot futuristic office campus on a 36-acre site in Santa Clara. The financing was made by a syndicate of ten lenders, with Wells Fargo serving as lead arranger and administrative agent.
Founded in 1993, NVIDIA is a publicly traded global company, with over 9,000 employees world-wide. NVIDIA has pioneered the art and science of visual computing and its products and services address the gaming, enterprise, high performance computing, cloud and automotive markets.
