Invincea to Sell to Sophos
Reston – February 23, 2017 – Cooley is advising longstanding client Invincea on its pending sale to Sophos (LSE: SOPH), an Oxford, UK-based global leader in network and endpoint security, for up to $120 million.
Invincea, founded in 2009 and based in Fairfax, Virginia, is a next-generation endpoint security company, whose portfolio of solutions is designed to detect and prevent unknown malware and sophisticated attacks via its patented deep learning neural-network algorithms. Invincea was named a “Visionary” in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant report on Global MSSPs, and it is ranked among the best performing machine learning endpoint technologies.

Closing of the transaction is subject to satisfaction of various closing conditions.
