Apttus Sells to Thoma Bravo
San Francisco – September 27, 2018 – Cooley advised quote-to-cash software provider Apttus on its agreement to sell to private equity firm Thoma Bravo, a longtime investor in the software space. The transaction is expected to close in early October. Cooley partners David Segre and Steve Tonsfeldt, alongside special counsel David Silverman, led the team advising Apttus on the sale.
Regarding the goals of the transaction, Apttus co-founder, president and chief solutions architect Neehar Giri said in a news release the “partnership with Thoma Bravo will allow Apttus to accelerate growth, scale to new heights and capitalize on an enormous market opportunity.”
