Qiming US Closes $260 Million Fund III
San Francisco – June 13, 2022 – Cooley advised Qiming Venture Partners USA (Qiming US), a leading US healthcare investment firm, on the closing of its third fund, raising $260 million in an oversubscribed fundraise with strong support from new and existing investors. Lawyers Jordan Silber and Elizabeth Reese led the Cooley team advising Qiming US.
In deploying Fund III, Qiming US will continue to invest in early-stage therapeutics and healthcare technology companies in the US and European Union that aim to improve patient outcomes and address unmet medical needs.
Since its inception in 2017, Qiming US has focused on investing both its financial and human capital in early-stage therapeutic and healthcare technology opportunities in the US and Europe. The firm has raised over $550 million and partnered with more than 30 early-stage companies to bring transformative therapies and healthcare technologies to patients.
