Logicworks to Sell to Cox Communications

New York – February 2, 2023 – Cooley advised Logicworks, a high-growth managed cloud services company, on its sale to Cox Communications, a private broadband provider. Lawyers David Silverman and Edward (Teddy) Nimetz led the Cooley team.

Logicworks will strengthen Cox’s offering to provide cutting-edge cloud solutions to US-based companies globally by joining RapidScale, a Cox commercial services portfolio company. The acquisition enables Logicworks and Cox to continue to capitalize on increasing demand in the market and broaden their growth opportunities.

Logicworks provides platform-driven cloud modernization, migration and operations solutions for Amazon Web Services and Azure cloud infrastructures and helps customers with complex workloads to accelerate cloud migration, architect to modern standards and operate on cloud at scale. Its Cloud Reliability Platform combines engineering talent, policy-as-code and integrated tooling, enabling customers to meet compliance regulations, security requirements, cost control and high availability.
