Align Ventures Invests in Figure AI’s $675 Million Series B

Los Angeles – February 29, 2024 – Cooley advised Align Ventures, a venture fund investing in technologies driving the future of retail, on its participation in Figure AI’s $675 million Series B financing round, bringing Figure to a $2.6 billion valuation. Figure is an artificial intelligence robotics company developing general purpose humanoid robots. Lawyers Dave Young, Priya Patel and James Allen led the Cooley team advising Align Ventures, with support from lawyers David Selden and Stacey Song on fund matters.

Microsoft, OpenAI Startup Fund, NVIDIA, Jeff Bezos (through Bezos Expeditions), Parkway Venture Capital, Intel Capital and ARK Invest also participated in this financing round. Proceeds from this financing will accelerate Figure’s timeline for humanoid robot commercial deployment.
