Reston – June 21, 2024 – Cooley advised Rooam, a contactless payment platform that integrates directly into existing point of sale systems without adding extra hardware, on its agreement to be acquired by American Express (NYSE: AXP), a globally integrated payments company providing customers with access to products, insights and experiences that enrich lives and build business success. Adding Rooam’s proprietary products – Rooam Pay, Rooam Tab and Rooam Order – will enhance American Express’s mobile ordering and payment capabilities as it continues to deepen its sports, music and entertainment partnerships.
