Cooley Selected as Finalist in Six M&A Advisor Awards Categories

Cooley was recognized as a finalist in six categories for the 23rd Annual M&A Advisor Awards, a list recognizing excellence across categories, including M&A transactions, private equity, corporate/strategic, cross-border and financing deals of the year. Cooley’s representation of Gamida Cell on its global restructuring was nominated as a finalist for Restructuring of the Year ($50 million to $100 million), Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year ($50 million to $100 million), and Cross-Border Deal of the Year ($50 million to $100 million).

Additionally, the work of Cooley’s private equity team on the acquisition of RecDesk by Clubessential Holdings, a portfolio company of Battery Ventures and Silver Lake, was nominated for M&A Deal of the Year ($50 million to $75 million), Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year ($50 million to $75 million), and Information Technology Deal of the Year ($50 million to $100 million).
