About Brooke
Brooke Fritz has over fifteen years of experience drafting and negotiating complex technology transactions, and counseling clients as a valued business advisor. She focuses on the legal and business needs of her clients in connection with their technology and intellectual property transactions. Her clients include multinational public companies and start-ups financed by venture capital firms in the IT, telecommunications, services, health care, business process outsourcing, and other technology industries.
She has counseled clients in connection with the commercialization of their technology products and services, and crafted and negotiated agreements involving outsourcing, consulting, licensing, distribution, hosting, development and technology transfer, electronic commerce, web and internet transactions, and other strategic relationships. She has significant experience with both domestic and international matters.
Prior to joining Cooley's Colorado office, Brooke was a Counsel for IBM’s Global Technology Services division, specializing on telecommunications transactions and strategic outsourcing, and a Senior Counsel and Vice President in the Technology Law Group at American Express. She also worked as an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in New York and Washington, DC.
