Frank Pietrantonio

Frank Pietrantonio's practice focuses on adversarial proceedings involving patents, as well as patent counseling and prosecution. He represents clients in complicated litigation matters – including multidistrict litigation – involving large and diverse patent portfolios. He has experience across multiple US District Courts, including New York, Delaware, Texas and California. He also represents clients in appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Having led more than 20 ex parte re-examinations pre-AIA, he leverages his strong post-grant experience to represent clients before the US Patent and Trademark Office in inter partes review and covered business method review proceedings. Frank is also regularly recognized as one of the top patent practitioners in the US. Since 2006, Chambers USA has noted his "strong counseling practice" on behalf of clients in the semiconductor, digital media and telecommunications industries.
