About Jonathan
Jonathan focuses his practice on commercial and intellectual property transactions for Cooley’s public and private clients in the life sciences industry. Jonathan has helped to structure and negotiate a variety of collaboration and license agreements, with the goal of maximizing the value of a company’s products and technology assets.
Before pursuing a career in law, Jonathan spent two and a half years researching the molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic specificity in the fruit fly brain. His research was subsequently published in Neuron, one of the most influential journals in the neuroscience field. Jonathan understands – and is excited to help his clients navigate – the unique challenges that early-stage life sciences companies face.
