Cooley advised Avenzo Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation oncology therapies, on its exclusive license agreement with Duality Biotherapeutics (DualityBio), pursuant to which Avenzo will develop, manufacture and commercialize AVZO-1418/DB-1418– a potential best-in-class epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3) bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) – globally (excluding Greater China). 

Cooley advised Flare Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, on its strategic discovery collaboration with Roche.

Cooley advised clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Kura Oncology (Nasdaq: KURA) on its global strategic collaboration with Kyowa Kirin to develop and commercialize ziftomenib, Kura’s selective oral menin inhibitor that is being investigated for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia and other hematologic malignancies.

Cooley advised the underwriters of BioAge Labs, a clinical-stage biotechnology company that is harnessing the biology of human aging to develop novel targets and therapies for metabolic diseases, on its $198 million initial public offering.

Cooley advised Radionetics Oncology, a biotechnology company discovering and developing novel small molecule G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR)-targeted radiopharmaceuticals to treat a broad range of solid tumors, on the formation of a strategic agreement with Eli Lilly to take forward Radionetics’ proprietary GPCR-targeting small molecule radiopharmaceuticals. Under the terms of the agreement, Radionetics received a $140 million up-front cash payment. Additionally, Lilly obtained the exclusive right to acquire Radionetics for $1 billion upon conclusion of an exercise period.
