About Kamya
Kamya focuses her practice on corporate and transactional employment matters, supporting companies navigating various stages of growth, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and more. Her counseling practice spans state and federal employment law, addressing workplace issues such as discrimination and harassment, separations, accommodations, and wage and hour considerations. Kamya also regularly drafts and reviews a range of policies, handbooks, offers, terminations, commissions, consulting and vendor services agreements, and proprietary information and trade secret protections. Additionally, she maintains an active pro bono practice.
Throughout law school, Kamya competed on an international and national level for the UC Law SF Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and mediated small claims court cases through the school’s clinical programs. Before joining Cooley, she spent two years working on product, enterprise sales, security and compliance at a robotics hardware-software startup based in Silicon Valley.
