About Matthew
Matthew litigates complex intellectual property disputes across numerous high-tech areas – including video game hardware and software, wireless communications, integrated circuits and semiconductor processing.
Matt’s practice focuses on patent litigation and trade secret counseling for high-technology clients. He has represented clients in technologies such as wireless communications, integrated circuits, semiconductor processing, PC chipsets, and video game hardware and software. Matt services the intellectual property litigation needs of both emerging ventures and large corporations. He also assists clients in complex commercial litigation matters involving disputes about intellectual property.
Matt has represented clients in arbitrations and lawsuits pending in courts throughout the US, including patent infringement trials in California, Texas and Virginia and at the International Trade Commission (ITC). He is a registered patent attorney and has been involved in patent office proceedings.
Matt joined Cooley in 2003 as an associate and was a partner for more than 15 years. He now serves as of counsel at Cooley.
