Naina’s litigation experience spans from pre-suit investigations through appeals, including significant trial and pre-trial preparation, motions practice and oral argument, extensive legal research, fact and expert witness depositions, and discovery. Naina most recently took the direct examination of an expert witness on issues of infringement and validity at trial in a competitor-on-competitor suit. In addition to practicing before numerous federal district courts, including the US District Court for the District of Delaware, the US District Court for the Northern District of California, the US District Court for the Western District of Texas and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Naina has represented parties in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, US International Trade Commission (ITC) investigations, and arbitrations, including through hearing/trial for those matters. She has served on trial teams that secured defense victories in bet-the-company cases with jury verdicts of invalidity and noninfringement and worked on successful IPR petitions invalidating all asserted claims. Super Lawyers (Washington, DC) has repeatedly recognized her as a Rising Star in IP Litigation (2020 – 2024).
