San Francisco – June 11, 2024 – Cooley advised Particle, an artificial intelligence-based news reader, on its $10.9 million Series A financing. The financing round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with continued participation from previous investors Kindred Ventures, Adverb Ventures, Ev Williams and Scott Belsky, and new investor Axel Springer. Proceeds from the financing will enable Particle to expand its team, strengthen its partnerships with publishers and prepare for its upcoming US launch.
