DataStax Announces Acquisition by IBM

Palo Alto – February 25, 2025 – Cooley advised DataStax, an artificial intelligence (AI) and data solution provider, on its acquisition by IBM (NYSE: IBM), a provider of global hybrid cloud and AI solutions and consulting expertise. The acquisition is expected to close in Q2 of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
