Cooley advised Gopuff, the go-to platform for consumers’ everyday needs, on its agreement to acquire alcoholic beverage specialty retailer BevMo for $350 million. Cooley partners Tom Hopkins, Kevin Cooper and Matt Hallinan led the team advising Gopuff on the transaction, which is expected to close in the next month.

Cooley advised Manchester Financial Group on the closing of a $425 million credit facility for the refinance of its Fairmont Austin Hotel.

Cooley advised SoftBank Vision Fund on its agreement to invest $450 million in Compass, making it the largest real estate tech investment in US history. Partner Matthew Bartus led the Cooley team advising the fund.

Cooley is advising ZELTIQ Aesthetics (NASDAQ: ZLTQ) on its approximately $2.5 billion all cash sale to Allergan (NYSE: AGN), a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

Cooley advised Doug Manchester, owner of the U-T San Diego on its $85 million sale to and combination with the Los Angeles Times, which is owned by Tribune Publishing. According to the U-T, "the sale will combine two of Southern California's oldest and most recognizable media companies."
