Cooley advised Chingona Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in founders whose backgrounds uniquely position them to create businesses in growth markets that are often overlooked, on the closing of its new $52 million fund. Lawyers Rachel Goddard, Noah Pittard, Mystery Murphy, Mandy Kondo and Christine Zhao led the Cooley team advising Chingona Ventures.

Cooley advised Vision Ridge, an alternative asset manager focused on sustainable real assets, on the closing of its third sustainable asset fund at $1.25 billion. Initially targeted at $1 billion of commitments, Sustainable Asset Fund III drew interest beyond the $1.25 billion hard cap. Partners Aaron Velli and Luke Bagley led the Cooley team advising Vision Ridge.

Cooley advised Clyde on its $14 million Series A financing round. Partner Noah Pittard led the Cooley team advising Clyde, an insurance tech platform that helps businesses drive greater revenue, brand loyalty and customer lifetime value.

Cooley is advising SolidFire on its sale to NetApp for $870 million in cash. Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction is anticipated to close in February of 2016.
