Absolute Software Announces $870 Million Acquisition by Crosspoint Capital

Palo Alto – May 12, 2023 – Cooley advised Absolute Software, a data risk management solutions and endpoint security provider, on its acquisition by Crosspoint Capital for approximately $870 million, inclusive of debt. Partners Steve Tonsfeldt and Rishab Kumar led the Cooley team.

Crosspoint Capital brings significant cybersecurity experience that will drive Absolute’s next stage of growth. Absolute shareholders will receive $11.50 per common share on the completion of the acquisition. After the acquisition is completed, the common shares will no longer be listed on the public market.
