Cooley advised Procyrion, a medical device company dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with cardiac and renal impairment, on the close of its $57.7 million Series E financing, including the conversion of $10 million in interim financing.

Cooley advised NerdWallet, a personal finance website and app, on its $150.1 million initial public offering of 8,337,500 shares of Class A common stock, which now trade on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol NRDS. Lawyers David Peinsipp, John Sellers and Nicole Orders led the Cooley team advising NerdWallet.

Cooley advised Pulmonx on its $218.5 million initial public offering of 11,500,000 shares of common stock, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. Partners Mark Weeks and Seth Gottlieb led the Cooley team advising Pulmonx, a commercial-stage medical technology company that provides a minimally invasive treatment for patients with severe emphysema.

Cooley advised Cardiva Medical, an innovator in the field of vascular closure, on its $45 million equity financing round. New investor EW Healthcare Partners participated in the round, as well as existing major investors, including affiliates of Luther King Capital Management, PTV Healthcare Capital and Evidity Health Capital, formerly Canepa Healthcare. Cooley partner Josh Seidenfeld led the team advising Cardiva.

Cooley advised clinical-stage biotechnology company Orca Bio on its $192 million Series D financing round, which was co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and an undisclosed investor. The round brings Orca’s total capital raised to nearly $300 million and values the company at more than $1 billion. Cooley partners Josh Seidenfeld and Mark Weeks led the team advising Orca.
