Cooley advised MyPrize, which emerged out of stealth having raised $13 million across two rounds of financing, with the most recent round bringing its total enterprise value to $140 million. Partner Roy Moran led the Cooley team advising MyPrize, which is the first online crypto casino enabling novel multiplayer experiences.

Cooley advised augmented intelligence platform DataRobot on its $300 million Series G financing round and its concurrent acquisition of Algorithmia, a machine learning model deployment and management solution. Harley Brown, Pat Mitchell and Pat Argenio led the Cooley team advising DataRobot on the financing, while Brown and Heather Harrington led the team advising on the acquisition.

Cooley advised SmartAsset, a technology company that connects consumers to financial advisors, on its $110 million Series D financing round, which brings its valuation to more than $1 billion. Roy Moran, Kevin Cooper, Andrew Gunther and Pat Mitchell led the Cooley team advising SmartAsset.

Cooley advised BowX Acquisition Corp., a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company or SPAC, on its agreement to merge with WeWork for $9 billion – a combination that will result in WeWork becoming a publicly listed company. Lawyers Dave Peinsipp, Jamie Leigh, Kevin Cooper, Garth Osterman, Eric Blanchard, Richard Segal, Sangitha Palaniappa and Natasha Patel led the team advising BowX on the transaction, which is expected to close in Q3.

Cooley advised iZotope, a developer of intelligent audio technology, on its investment from Francisco Partners, a leading global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology and technology-enabled businesses. The investment follows iZotope's announcement that it has teamed up with Native Instruments to form a new technology group. Partner Giselle Rivers led the Cooley team advising iZotope.
