Cooley advised Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA), a global digital marketplace connecting vehicle buyers and sellers, on its definitive merger agreement, under which Ritchie Bros. will acquire IAA in a cross-border stock and cash transaction valued at approximately $7.3 billion.
Cooley advised Nutrafol, a leading provider of hair wellness products, on its agreement to sell a majority stake in the company to Unilever. Partner Kevin Cooper led the Cooley team advising Nutrafol on the transaction, and partner Stephane Levy has acted as longtime corporate counsel to the company. Nutrafol is backed by Unilever Ventures and consumer-focused private equity firm L Catterton.
