Cooley advised PetLab Co., a rapidly growing independent pet supplement brand headquartered in London, on its majority stake sale to BC Partners, a top international investment firm.

Cooley advised cloud-based construction software company Payapps and its private equity sponsor IFM Investors on a definitive agreement in which Payapps will be acquired by Autodesk, a multinational software company.

Cooley advised Accel Partners as lead investor on the $20 million Series A financing of Lottie, a free service that helps families and retirees find the UK’s best care homes and retirement living communities. Partner Aaron Archer led the Cooley team advising Accel, a global venture capital investment firm investing in the growth of next-generation industries.

Cooley advised Dimension as lead investor in Automata’s 33.1-million-pound Series C financing. Automata, an automation company helping life sciences rapidly innovate, diagnose and discover at scale, will use the funds to accelerate its rapid growth and industry presence across the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Partner Aaron Archer led the Cooley team advising Dimension, a first-of-its-kind firm partnering with founders at the intersection of technology and life sciences.

Cooley advised Moogsoft, an artificial intelligence-driven provider of intelligent monitoring solutions that support DevOps and ITOps, on its agreement to sell to Dell Technologies. Lawyers Steve Tonsfeldt, Mark Tanoury, Sangitha Palaniappa and Allison Peth led the Cooley team advising Moogsoft.
