Cooley advised Tectonic Therapeutic, a privately held biotechnology company developing G-protein coupled receptor-targeted therapeutic proteins, on its definitive merger agreement to combine in an all-stock transaction with AVROBIO, a gene therapy company with a purpose to free people from a lifetime of genetic disease. Tectonic also obtained $130.7 million in private financing commitments with a syndicate of new and existing leading life sciences investors in connection with the merger.

Cooley advised World View, a leader in stratospheric exploration and flight, on its definitive business combination agreement with publicly traded special purpose acquisition company Leo Holdings Corp. II. The transaction will result in World View becoming a publicly listed company. Partners Alex Kassai, Milson Yu and Miguel Vega led the Cooley team advising World View.

Cooley advised Battery Ventures, a global, technology-focused investment firm, and PageUp Group, a human resources and talent software company that had been majority owned by Battery, on the sale of PageUp to EQT Group.

Cooley advised Definitive Healthcare, a commercial intelligence company focused on healthcare, on its acquisition of Populi.

Cooley advised Zip on its $43 million Series B financing round. Partner Harley Brown led the Cooley team advising Zip, which is a developer of an intelligent purchase request platform intended to be a place for employees to request purchases.
